Tools for Self Reliance
Tools for Self Reliance enable people living in poverty to earn a living by equipping them with skills and tools. They run vocational training projects in Africa with local partners in trades such as tailoring, carpentry and plumbing, and equip trainees with start up tool kits, tools that are donated and refurbished in the UK, and which are expensive and hard to obtain locally. Being able to earn money means more children able to go to school, better food for the family, and a chance to break the cycle of poverty.
