In Yorkshire, Caroline Hawley uncovers remarkable suffragette postcards, and David Harper is delighted by some newspaper printing blocks. Paul Martin steps aboard museum trawler the Arctic Corsair.
Today Flog It! comes from Hull’s City Hall, East Yorkshire. Antique experts Caroline Hawley and David Harper are on hand to find a selection of objects to take to auction. Caroline uncovers a remarkable collection of suffragette postcards, and David is delighted by some Hull Daily Mail newspaper printing blocks, saved from the tip. Paul Martin steps aboard the Arctic Corsair, to hear the inspirational story of the Hull women who campaigned for a change in the safety laws on the fishing trawlers.
