Best Home Cook series returns with a new lease of life - brand new kitchens, tougher challenges and an exciting and tense finale each week. There is also a new addition to the judging line-up with Michelin-starred chef Angela Hartnett joining the queen of home cooking, Mary Berry, and fruit and veg expert Chris Bavin. Hosted with wit and warmth by Claudia Winkleman, ten talented home cooks embark on the ultimate immersive cooking competition, living together in a shared house and competing against each other whilst the trio of judges look on and put their cooking prowess to the test.

Each week, the cooks face two challenges - Mary’s 'ultimate' task, preparing dishes for special occasions, and Chris’s incredibly difficult 'rustle up' challenge, where they have one star ingredient and one hour to create a mid-week masterpiece. Those who haven’t impressed enough across these two challenges will be picked to take part in Angela’s dreaded eliminator where the cooks go head to head and must follow one of Angela’s recipes, perfectly.

This week Mary challenges the cooks to produce their ultimate Italian pasta dinner, while Chris requires them to rustle up a dish based around a piece of fruit.
