Charlie Ross discovers the history of Christmas pantomimes while Charles Hanson and David Harper lead the red and blue teams to festive bargains at Wetherby Racecourse.

Today’s show comes from Wetherby Racecourse in West Yorkshire. Charles Hanson and David Harper are on hand to help the reds and blues as they search for some Christmas bargains. Charlie Ross visits York Theatre Royal to learn about the history of pantomime, with local legend Berwick Kaler sharing stories from his 40 years as a panto dame and costume supervisor Pauline showing off some of the wardrobe’s most elaborate creations.
