The Real Derry Girls

Follows the fight for justice by a tight-knit group of courageous women, for the death of journalist Lyra McKee.

Lyra McKee was a remarkable young journalist accidentally shot dead earlier this year by a gunman from the dissident group known as the New IRA - during a riot in Derry/Londonderry. She was part of a tight-knit group of courageous women - the Real Derry Girls, named after a smash hit TV series. This film, by the veteran BBC reporter Peter Taylor, follows their fight for justice.
