Welcome to the Wedding Dress Shop. Outside, it’s an unassuming shop on an ordinary high street. But inside, it’s an extraordinary place where dreams come true on a daily basis. Waving the magic wand is quirky bespoke dress designer Samantha Buca. She ditches the usual rules of who looks hot in what as her ethos is if you’re tall, short, curvy or thin, you deserve to look fabulous. Samm turns friendly detective on her customers, finding out the details of their lives before conjuring up the perfect dress for the day of their lives. And it gets very emotional. Samm’s BFF Fiona reduces Samm to tears when she asks her a very important question. Next in are later-in-life lovebirds Daniella and Shane, who are bucking tradition by visiting the shop together. Finally, Tania comes in with daughter Linzi, who wants a bridesmaid dress that is as big if not bigger than the brides. Between appointments, Samm and her team – mother Mama B and sister Andrea - resolve the big questions of life.
