Former traffic reporter Lynn Bowles explores road safety in the 21st century and asks: if roads are safer and cars are safer why are people still dying on the road? As well finding out just how dangerous Welsh roads are and having her own driving professionally assessed, she also finds out how Sweden has managed to radically reduce road deaths, visits a car meet to talk to so-called ‘boy racers’ and examines how driverless cars will change the role of the driver for future generations.
