Legendary Viking Ragnar Lothbrok leads raiding parties all over the British coast and returns with treasure, slaves and spoils. When he brings home Egbert, a Saxon spy, Egbert recognises one of Ragnar's slaves from the necklace he wears. This begins a confrontation with Ragnar's bold and uncompromising son Einar that will end in war.
