Eddie makes a shocking confession, and there's a worrying discovery for Brian.

Half way through harvesting the quinoa, Adam receives a text to say he and Ian’s midwife’s appointment has been brought forward. He leaves in a rush and Brian agrees to take over for him with Josh’s help. Brian’s unimpressed when he discovers that all of the grain needs to be dried and the dryer has run out of gas; Adam’s really taken his eye off the ball.
After a successful meeting with the midwife, Ian seems preoccupied. He confides in Adam that he’s worried there won’t be a job for him when he returns from paternity leave. He’s dumbfounded that Oliver has hired Freddie to work in the kitchen. He hopes whoever Oliver and Kathy hire to cover his own post is competent.
Later, Brian and Eddie decompress at the pub. Eddie admits how worried he is about Will. He doesn’t feel as though he can leave Will alone. One thing’s for sure, Will shouldn’t be around guns again. Eddie’s determined that Will should give up his job, he even goes as far as asking Brian to get him fired. Brian worries that unemployment might make Will worse, but Eddie’s at his wits’ end and just wants to save Will from himself.
