As well as hints of both Mediterranean planting and a classic English country garden, they also want the space to be able to grow food and herbs for their kitchen. They are keen veg growers and already own an allotment, but this garden can’t just be an extension of their allotment - it also has to work as a social space for entertaining friends, and as a family garden as they have a new baby.
