In the Highlands, Raymond tests the market for valais blacknose crossbreeds at the Thainstone Rare Breed Sale, while his kids put pressure on him to buy more pets. Crofters Lynn and Sandra are thrown in the deep end when they try to buy stock at auction for the first time. Dairy farmers the McLeans bring in a bovine fertility expert to check on their cows’ pregnancies. Later the family pulls together to tidy up the farm for an upcoming Red Tractor inspection. In Shetland, Kirsty and Aimee attempt a daring rescue mission when they realise a lamb has fallen off one of St Ninian’s Isle’s steep cliffs.
