That Man Remembered

A tribute to Tommy Handley, star of ITMA - It’s That Man Again, the live comedy radio show that became an institution and kept Britain laughing during the dark days of the Second World War.

Over 300 programmes were broadcast with up to 20 million listeners tuned in all around world.

When Tommy died suddenly in 1949, there were outpourings of grief at his passing.

Presented by Roger Worsley, whose father Francis was the series producer.
