Great Britain’s Olympic legend Sir Mo Farah is targeting a first victory in the race in his home city, but faces stiff completion from world record holder Eliud Kipchoge. In the women’s event, a world-class field is headed by defending champion Vivian Cheruiyot and three-time winner Mary Keitany.
In the wheelchair events, Great Britain’s David Weir competes for the 20th time hoping to extend his record number of victories to nine, while Australia’s Madison de Rozario hopes for a second successive victory in the women’s event.
