Pip makes a decision, and Alistair receives a touching gesture.

Jazzer apologises to Alistair for encouraging his gambling - Jim's already given him an ear-bashing. Alistair isn't looking forward to moving back to the box room with the piano. Alistair's called out to Brookfield, where he runs into Jill. Jill's furious that he hid the truth - and to think, she begged Shula to give their marriage another go! Alistair tries to defend himself against her accusations, but Jill's adamant he should be ashamed of himself. When he returns to Greenacres he's touched to discover that Jazzer's vacated the spare room for him.

The postponed Brookfield family meeting goes ahead, and Pip disagrees with Josh's decision to tweak the cows' parlour cake formula. He accuses her of being a backseat farmer. David tries to make peace - the farm's had a good year so far, no point ruining it with bickering. Later, Pip and Toby register Rosie's birth. Something Robin said has got to Toby, and he wonders if Rosie should have a name from his side of the family. How about Grace? Pip agrees that it's a lovely name, but... The registrar calls them through, and she makes a decision. Rosie Ruth Grace Archer it is - just don't tell Jill.
