Freedom
Endurance cyclist Lee Craigie jumps on her bike, Jimmy, in search of what a sense of freedom means to different people.
Not tied down by a 9 to 5, not having to drop off or pick up children, able to come and go as she pleases Lee Craigie describes herself as a nomad at heart. In this episode of Life Cycle exploring freedom, Lee talks to fellow long distance cyclist Dervla Murphy about the sense of freedom they both love in their lives.
Freedom can be both physical and mental. For Heather, finding her freedom and being to finally express who she actually is came late in life when she decided to step away from living a very restrictive family environment.
While in Corton Vale women's prison, Lee explores how to find both physical and mental freedom within the confines of the prison walls.
