The secret valley

The secret valley
Over the years Sally has almost single-handedly transformed a former coal board dumping ground into an urban paradise known as The Secret Valley. The beautiful garden nestles behind a typical family home in Manchester. The valley has become home to all sorts of wild birds including swans and even kingfishers.

There are statues, an apple orchard, a rose garden and a vast array of wildflowers alongside streams and winding pathways. The garden includes lots of seating areas so that visitors can relax, take in the views and enjoy watching the wildlife. The garden is occasionally open to the public through the national garden scheme.
