Cadair Idris and Craig y Nos

Derek Brockway climbs Cadair Idris, one of Wales's most spectacular summits. In the Brecon Beacons, he explores Craig y Nos Country Park.

Cadair Idris is a mountain steeped in legend and mythology, and it is also one of Wales's most spectacular summits. Derek Brockway climbs to three peaks in this range and even braves a quick dip in its glacial lake.

In the Brecon Beacons, it is a much more relaxing route with singer and broadcaster Beverley Humphreys. Together, they walk in the footsteps of one of history's most impressive sopranos, Madame Adelina Patti, exploring her former castle estate at Craig y Nos Country Park.
