Louisa May Alcott - A Marble Woman

Sexual repression collides with opium addiction when an orphaned girl becomes the ward of a genius sculptor. Stars Bill Paterson.

Recently orphaned Cecilia Stein turns up at the door of a large gothic mansion, home to genius sculptor Bazil Yorke.

Jilted by the child's mother many years ago, Yorke decides to use the daughter to punish the sins of the mother.
