Pat proves to be a friend indeed, and Joe struggles to let go.

Jennifer is glad she accepted Pat's offer of a pampering session at Grey Gables. What an excellent way to relax after everything that has been going on at Home Farm, Jennifer thinks.

After the sauna Pat convinces Jennifer to stay for a drink. The bar is busy with Felpersham Wholefood's new product launch, Pat is reminded of the E-coli outbreak and tells Jennifer she must not give into the temptation hide away. Jennifer agrees, no point skulking around, she's got absolutely nothing to hide.

Toby gives Pip a belated birthday present, a ride in a glider. Pip was getting fed up with all the baby related presents that this is by far her favourite present.
Toby's performance in the lambing shed has gone to his head - he now thinks of himself as the "Ewe-whisperer".

Joe and Nic sort through a box of old things for the upcycling event at Darrington's Vintage Fair. Joe finds the picture frame he'd kept next to his bed with a picture of Susan in it. Joe tells Nic that she should sell all the items at the fair and spend the money on the children, no point "hanging onto memories that won't come back".
