Transylvania

This week, Mairead Ronan and Joe Lindsay take advantage of direct flights to Transylvania in Romania to see at first hand the landscape and scenery that was the inspiration for Bram Stoker's famous novel. They discover the historic city of Cluj, are amazed by a theme park in an underground salt mine, visit medieval towns and hunt for some of the most amazing castles in the region. And in this week's short Getaway, Tommy Bowe discovers dramatic scenery of his own on an activity break in the Mourne Mountains of Co Down.
