Are our ideas of masculinity changing - and what are the consequences for us all? What does society expect from a man in the twenty first century? Has it ever been a more confusing time to be a man?
We talk to listeners about what expectations they have of what it means to be a man. What is a man's role in the family and in society? Are 'manly men' being unfairly judged and looked down on? Is it harder to 'be a man' when roles are less constrained, or is it easier? What's it like growing up as a young man now and what's it like bringing up boys?
