Not drinking, Your side-line, Walking netball

We explore how a little side-earner can become your main income stream. We talk about giving up alcohol. And we go to the netball court and hear about the walking version.

New Year's here and the usual self-help books are being promoted. This year however there's a noticeable rise in books about going sober. Jane is joined by Clare Pooley, author of The Sober Diaries, and Catherine Gray, who's written The Unexpected Joy of Being Sober. They discuss their experiences and whether sobriety is just the latest passing trend in wellbeing.

Are you earning money on the side, doing something you love? Or are you sitting on a great business idea but haven't got round to realising it? Could 2018 be the year that you make your side project your main income stream? Could your side-hustle, as it's known, become your dream business? Getting started can be daunting, so to fire up your creativity, Jane is joined by three women who can offer some help and advice. They are: Emma Gannon, blogger and podcast host; Otegha Uwagba, who's written 'The Little Black Book' which is about careers, and Laura Mudie who runs two businesses as well as being a midwife.

And we go to the netball court and hear about a slower version called walking netball.
