Toby battles with his feelings, and Matt continues to make trouble.

Philip fixes the Dower House shower, and Lilian jokes to Shula he's her knight in shining armour. Shula offloads to Lilian about organising the Hunt Ball - Alistair needs to be firm and refuse to be on call. Lilian tells her Justin has heard rumours about a horse being badly treated at the Stables. It's not to do with the horse that died but a livery horse that went lame.

Pip has got a fence repair to do at Hollowtree, Toby brings her tea and apologises for his part in the moment when Pip tried to kiss him. They forcefully agree they are mates. Later, Pip tells Toby she still has feelings for him and they kiss passionately.

Philip recounts to Lilian how he had to break up Justin and Matt outside The Bull. While out walking Ruby, Lilian bumps into Matt who admits he probably did wind Justin up when Ruby was found. With the weather turning bad, Lilian gets into Matt's car. Matt wants Lilian to help move along a horse sale with her friend Philomena. Lilian's not sure but agrees when Matt says she'll soon never see him again.
