Daughters of prostitutes, Mothers Apart, Sarah Winman

We hear from the daughters of Mumbai sex workers about what it's like to live in one of the world's most infamous red-light districts and what it's like to have a mum who's a prostitute.

Mothers Apart is a group in Huddersfield set up for women whose children, for many reasons, do not live with them. We hear from three mums about coming to terms with not having their children at home with them, as well as Siobhan Beckwith, who runs the project. Siobhan talks to Jenni about the mental and emotional difficulties these women face and their need for a space to talk about a situation, which feels like a taboo to some.

We continue our chats with the actor Patricia Greene, who plays Jill Archer in The Archers. She's been playing the role for 60 years and today she reflects on the heartbreak her character has faced, as well as her own in real life. We dip into The Archers' archive too.
