Susan makes enquiries, and Lily tries to keep her mum calm.

Elizabeth is still worrying about Freddie. She should've driven to the Isle of Wight and brought him home for his French exam. She threatens to call the organisers to contact him, until Lily points out diplomatically that his phone will be off to save the battery. She thinks Freddie has matured since Loxfest. He'll be fine with Johnny.

Freddie has managed to get himself and Johnny a little something to take before they go to the dance tent. Freddie's filled with a sense that world is a very wonderful place. He plans to go on dancing forever, and never return home. He shares his new philosophy with Bonnie, who suggests they spend the night together. Since this will be Freddie's first time, Johnny graciously gives up the tent.

Lilian's fired her builder, leaving her bathroom in chaos. Jennifer sympathises and likens her situation to that of Theresa May following the General Election. At the shop, Susan fishes for details on Justin's plans to build houses at Bridge Farm. She quizzes Jennifer on the subject. Later, Jennifer relays Susan's enquiries to Lilian. But Lilian knows nothing. Jennifer's sure that if the rumours were true, Justin would have told her, wouldn't he?
