Harrison has his work cut out, and Matt returns two items.

Matt drops into The Bull for a coffee. He's given himself the day off, and boasts to Kenton about how well his business is going. Kenton lets him talk on, ignoring a call from David. Matt asks if the two of them have had a falling out.

Jennifer's very keen for a reluctant Brian to be on time for Speedwatch training. He brought this on himself when he ran over Peggy's cat. At the Village Hall, Harrison struggles to keep the Speedwatch training on track. Kate keeps running out to take calls, Robert and Jim get distracted by a bird, and Lynda wants to be more creative with the phonetic alphabet. Harrison's worried that nobody has learned anything, but Jim reassures him that it went better than many other community events.

Matt arrives at the Dower House to return two ornaments to Lilian. He sold the Dresden china shepherd and shepherdess when he disappeared to Costa Rica, but knowing how much she loved them he went to great lengths to buy them back. Lilian insists she lost interest in them. Matt persuades her that she might as well accept, if only to sell them on. She thanks him and as she closes the door Matt quietly replies, "see you, Pusscat".
