Toby reaches the end of the road, and Emma comes under fire.
Pip has little time for Toby's self-pity over the imminent loss of his gin business. She's got troubles too. The row with her mum over the escaped cattle shows no sign of abating, and Pip continues to blame herself.
The cricket team is doing badly. Will moans about having women on the team, but he's out for one - outscored by an injured Lily! Harrison's out early too, to his dismay. Harrison rallies the troops. They'll have Anisha next week, and if they keep up their net practice they'll improve.
Will suggests he and Nic have George for an extra night each week, to help Emma juggle her time with her factory shifts. Emma's hurt and angry. She feels that Will's accusing her of neglecting George. Despite Will's protestations to the contrary, Emma refuses his offer.
When Rex hears Toby's turned down Kenton's offer of money for the gin business, he advises his brother to think again. He can't afford principles, and if Kenton's offering him a way out, he should take it. Rex also counsels Toby to go easy on Pip. She's really suffering at the moment. Acting on this, Toby apologises to Pip. Pip laments she wants her mum to be proud of her - not ashamed. But if Ruth won't even speak to her, what can she do?
