Slurry pollution and the butcher

Slurry pollution - Natural Resources Wales says slurry, which caused "major pollution" in Monmouthshire, has been contained. Up to 450-thousand litres of slurry was in a lagoon which failed. NRW says a "significant" amount of it went into a tributary of the River Honddu. But at what cost to the environment and is enough being done to prevent such incidents?

But Catherine Butler is a bucking that trend - after more than a decade helping her father run the family's abattoir and butchers, she has officially taken the reins as the owner of the company following her father's retirement.

Eco Church - the small village church of St. Gwyddelan's in Dolwyddelana in Snowdonia has become the first in Wales to receive a prestigious new ecology award for churches
