Len travels with BBC weather presenter Carol Kirkwood to St Helier, Jersey, which Carol visited in 1973 as an 11-year-old.

Firstly, Len surprises Carol by collecting her by taxi from the airport just like she did back in the day, but on this trip she rides shotgun and sits next to cabbie Goodman as they drive to St Helier. As they drive along with the meter running Carol is reminded of how she and her siblings would have flown all the way down from Scotland and how excited she would have been to be on that plane to this very special island.

The surprises continue as they make a visit to the war tunnels just like she did as an 11-year-old, they also visit the zoo to feed the Orangutans and Len reveals his little-known meteorological side by showing Carol how he would present the BBC Weather.

Along the way we get an insight into Carol's amazing career which included stints in the US and we delve into what made this holiday so memorable for a young Carol Kirkwood.
