Rural Dentists - is there a shortage of dentists in rural Wales? Nearly 4,500 patients will lose their only NHS dentist in Dolgellau from the end of this week. The My Dentist practice has been unable to find a new full-time dentist leaving patients with little option than to travel as far as Welshpool, Penrhyndeudraeth or Porthmadog to receive NHS treatment. We speak to a rural dentist, talk to the British Dental Association in Wales and meet the children who have successfully campaigned to get a mobile dental unit reinstated in Corwen.
