Mogwai Selector

As part of the 6 Music Festival in Glasgow, local band Mogwai take over 6 Music for four hours and mine the BBC archives for gems.

For the first hour bandmembers Stuart Braithwaite and Barry Burns present a mix of some of their favourite music. This includes: Laraaji, Popol Vuh, Boards of Canada, Charlie Patton, Gaelic Psalm Singers From Lewis, Max Richter, Zyna Hel, Kaspar Hauser, SUMS, Unwound, Part Chimp, The Flaming Lips, Funkadelic and Konx-Om-Pax.
