Jazzer makes himself at home, and Lilian is summoned to the Dower House.

Lynda shares her concerns about fast driving through the village with Harrison. Harrison wonders whether a speeding project underway in some nearby locations might be having a displacement effect. Lynda discovers that some local villages have speedwatch volunteers. Keen that Ambridge doesn't miss out, she pledges to take it to the parish council.

Lynda also establishes with Harrison that adopting a 'nom de computer' isn't illegal. She feels sometimes it's necessary to create an innocent fiction in pursuit of a greater good. Harrison agrees heartily.

Jazzer takes a barrow-load of snacks and a classic film to Willow Farm, with the aim of cheering up Kirsty. Kirsty doesn't want visitors but Jazzer jovially talks his way in. When Roy joins them later he's impressed with how much Kirsty's perked up.

Lilian gets a voicemail from Justin asking her to meet him at the Dower House. At least he's going to let her down in person, she reflects ruefully. After some beating around the bush Justin gets to the point. He suggests Miranda felt threatened by the connection between himself and Lilian. Then, he then stuns Lilian by declaring his marriage is over; he wants to be with her...
