John Godber's comedy was commissioned for the Hull 1992 Festival. Over 25 years on, John and Jane Godber revisit the roles they played in the original stage production.
April in Paris is the third of John Godber's stage plays performed for BBC radio, following September in the Rain (2011) and Happy Jack (2015). All three were performed by Jane and John, like the original theatre productions.
