After spending a trial week living in Australia or New Zealand examining property, jobs and the lifestyle - will they choose to stay in the UK or move to the other side of the world? Ten years ago Lee was dreaming of a better life in Australia but his wife Lauren was more than happy in the UK. However, since becoming a mum and qualifying as a midwife she's began to see the potential for a better future down under. But having overcome financial hardship to set up a successful business and worried about taking the children away from grandparents who dote on them, Lee is less inclined to make the move. A trial week in Perth gives both Lauren and Lee an insight into the reality of living on the other side of the world - but will it be enough to put them on the same page when it comes to choosing a country to call home?

Ramoth family update
When the Ramoth family returned from Australia, they applied for visas and sold their house straight away. They have booked their flights and are heading to Perth on a permanent basis at the end of January 2017.
We wish the family all the best for their new life down under.
