Tom needs to offload his concerns, and Roy has some explaining to do.

Tracy helps Susan select the best photos from her recent shoot, before nipping to The Bull in the hope of catching Roy. Meanwhile, Johnny shares his concern with Roy about Tom, who seems pretty humourless lately. Johnny cheekily excuses himself when Tracy appears. Roy tries to talk down their New Year's Eve kiss but keen Tracy invites him back for lunch with Susan and Neil. Roy makes an excuse about Phoebe. Later, Susan tentatively suggests to Tracy that Roy may just not be interested but Tracy vows to 'crack him'.

Tom's concerned about Helen taking baby Jack to his first appointment with Rob at a professional contact centre, so she lets him come with her. She's determined to show Rob she's not afraid of him. Helen knows something's up with Tom, and he tells her Kirsty is pregnant with his child. Helen's horrified that Tom asked Kirsty to marry him, again.

At the contact centre, Rob approaches Helen and says he wants a quick and clean divorce - Jack is his priority now. Helen accepts a toy for Jack and a gift for Henry from Rob but insists this doesn't change anything. Tom challenges Helen's sympathy for Rob, although Rob's child contact arrangement makes Tom think about his own position. Helen tells Tom to learn a lesson about marriage from her and Rob.
