Hansel and Gretel

Friday Night is Music Night - Clark Rundell conducts the BBC Philharmonic at their studio in MediaCityUK, Salford, in a concert of musical fairy tales recorded in December. Louise Minchin presents Hannah Waddingham and Joseph Shovelton in songs from Into the Woods, Pinocchio, Brigadoon and Wicked. There's ballet music from Prokofiev and Tchaikovsky, and in part two Craig Charles is the narrator in the world premiere of his re-telling of the Hansel and Gretel story, with music by Iain Farrington.
