DJ John Peel's contribution to the evolution of Scottish music through his sessions is celebrated by his son Tom Ravenscroft with interviews with musicians including Stuart Murdoch, Clare Grogan, Jim Kerr, Justin Currie, Richard Jobson, Emma Pollok, and Rab Noakes. Author Ken Garner and John Peel Show producer Mark Radcliffe and BBC engineer Bill Aitken give the inside stories behind many of these legendary sessions and the impact recording a session on his late night programme had on these musical hopefuls careers.
