Susan celebrates at Ambridge View, while Neil ends up in a tight spot.

As Susan is entertaining the Calendar Girls ladies tonight, Neil has been shooed off to The Bull, where he and Eddie give Toby advice about getting on with the in-laws. They also discuss The Bull's upcoming 'Great Escape' event - Kenton's campaign to get people into the pub after Christmas.

Susan and her guests reminisce about Calendar Girls and joke about seeing themselves on the calendar. Kirsty moans about Lynda's constant notes for Mother Goose - she and Tom need to show more suppressed attraction. Susan probes Lilian about her onstage chemistry with Justin. Lilian teases Elizabeth about Richard Locke - Elizabeth can swap notes with Debbie who's arriving tomorrow. Elizabeth's distracted by Susan, who becomes excited at the arrival of Jean Harvey.

At Eddie's suggestion, Toby, Neil and Eddie creep round to Ambridge View to see what's going on. They wonder if the women might be recreating the nude calendar. They see Susan helping Jean Harvey out of her dress (due to a burst zip). They then knock over an urn and Susan catches them. The men start singing carols to explain their presence, but Susan's not fooled. She assures Neil that come 1st January the women of Ambridge will be keeping their clothes firmly on.
