Tadaaki Otaka (conductor)
Ravel's Daphnis et Chloé: a piece that embraces lush harmonies. Conductor Tadaaki Otaka paints a picture of a meadow on the outskirts of a sacred wood where sheep graze and nymphs frolic. This ancient Greek-inspired story of romance and adventure is brought to life by the Orchestra and Chorus, alongside the flowing melodies of Prokofiev's second violin concerto performed by Thomas Zehetmair.
