First minister says DUP will continue to use petition of concern to block gay marriage
No matter how many people vote for gay marriage in Northern Ireland, the first minister Arlene Foster says the DUP will block it using a device called a Petition of Concern. The DUP has a strong determination to protect the traditional definition of marriage.
