Coverage of the Japanese Grand Prix, which has returned to Suzuka after two years at the Fuji Speedway.

Lewis Hamilton has started from pole in each of the last two seasons but has gone on to have mixed fortunes in the race. The McLaren driver won in 2007 but it was a different story in 2008 when a mistake at the first corner was followed by a collision with Felipe Massa, resulting in the Briton finishing down in 12th.
