In The Bull, the interview panel is waiting, and Kate and Roy have a heart to heart.
Jazzer brings Jim to The Bull and explains they're part of the interview panel for Tom's mock scholarship interview. Jim's not sure if he's the right person but Jazzer assures him he's more than qualified. They're joined by David and Brian and together they give Tom a friendly grilling.
Kate and Roy reflect on Phoebe's departure for university. Kate says she feels old but Roy assures her she looks great and compliments her on her new business. Roy feels everyone is moving on with their lives except him, even Elizabeth and Hayley. Phoebe has told him that Hayley has a new boyfriend called Luke. Phoebe thinks Roy should start dating, and Kate agrees. Kate suggests unblocking Roy's chi would give him more energy.
After Tom's mock interview David mentions the incident in The Bull with Rob that he and Jazzer dealt with last week. Jazzer thinks the sooner Rob realises he's not welcome in Ambridge the better.
