Gabby Logan presents live coverage of the 2016 Great North CityGames from the Newcastle and Gateshead quayside. Firmly established as part of the Great North Run weekend, the Great North CityGames takes place around a 200m track on the bank of the River Tyne. In addition to the flat and hurdles races, there are pole vault and long jump competitions, with mile and two-mile races around the quayside completing the line-up.
Athletes taking part include 800m Olympic gold medallist David Rudisha, as well as Britain's sprint stars, including Richard Kilty, CJ Ujah and Jodie Williams, along with long-distance stars such as Scotland's Lynsey Sharp and Laura Muir, while Greg Rutherford aims to finish his season on a high and put on a show in the long jump.
Gabby is joined for expert analysis by Denise Lewis and Colin Jackson, with Phil Jones trackside. Commentary is by Steve Cram, Andrew Cotter and Paula Radcliffe. Mo Farah also joins Gabby to preview the Great North Run.
