Beavers - once native to Britain, they have been extinct for hundreds of years in the wild but could they soon be back on our rivers? The Welsh Beaver Project, run started back in 2005 to investigating the feasibility of their reintroduction. Rachael Garside joins Alicia Leow-Dyke whose job it is to find suitable sites where these "ecosystem engineers" as they are sometimes known can help the environment and benefit the local economy.
Not everyone is keen on the idea though and we speak to the Farmers Union of Wales and we hear how England's only wild population of beavers are fairing on the River Otter in Devon.
Low Salmon Stocks - the future of salmon fishing in some of our best loved rivers could be in jeopardy. Experts say the number of young fish in some rivers has reached an unprecedented low. Natural Resources Wales say young salmon, are at critically-low levels
