With Evie still recovering from her fall, Fletch commits to being a better dad, with tragic consequences. Morven finally allows herself to let her hair down.

Fletch struggles to treat a patient under police escort. When the patient makes a desperate dash to escape, Bernie and Serena rush to not only deal with an unfolding tragedy but with a personal crisis of their own.

Morven seeks solace in charity work at a homeless shelter as she struggles to cope. However, the respite doesn't last long when both Jasmine and Bernie's son, Cameron, encourage her to join them on a night out with Jez and Iain from the hospital's Accident and Emergency Department.
