More about the programme
It's estimated that one in ten children in Wales under the age of 16 have asthma - that's an average of three in every classroom.
The condition is so common that concerns are being raised that people can forget that asthma can kill.
In Wales, approximately 2 children a year die as a result of the condition, and many more are hospitalised.
Eye on Wales explore ways in which that toll could be reduced and hears from a family devastated by an asthma attack.
Presented by Selma Chalabi.
