Leeds Rhinos won all the major prizes last year and open up the defence of their Super League title with an intriguing contest against Warrington. The Wolves missed out on the semi-finals in 2015 but after some heavy recruitment over the winter they are among the favourites to win the competition this year. Wigan were Grand Final runners-up last season and they begin with a home game against Catalans Dragons, St Helens play Huddersfield and Hull KR take on Castleford. Frank Pritchard is one of the new recruits looking to make their debut for Hull FC against Salford, and Wakefield face Widnes.
