Guinness World Records

Friday Night Is Music Night celebrates the highest, longest, shortest, most fantastic World Records in music as they mark the Guinness World Records 60th Anniversary. With the BBC Concert Orchestra conducted by Mike Dixon, singers Rodney Earl Clarke and Ashleigh Gray, and including music from the artist with the most number one singles (Elvis); the longest running show on Broadway 'Phantom of the Opera'; the most Oscar nominated living person (John Williams); the best selling playwright (William Shakespeare);and the largest orchestra - 7,224 players. Friday Night is Music Night will also attempt to set a new world record, the most number of recognisable ABBA tunes played in a minute on piano.
