The train is in the station, the railway staff are at the ready and there is much excitement in the air. Rachael Garside swaps the Country focus studio to board the santa special train with Gwili Steam Railway. Joined by children from Tots Nursery in Haverfordwest who have been coming for over 20 years for this festive tradition on the heritage railway

Bugs for Christmas - while the children are busy thinking about presents what about the christmas day lunch ? If you're fed up with the traditional turkey we've another suggestion. Wales's first insect inspired restaurant - the Grub Kitchen café in Pembrokeshire is offering bug burgers and cricket koftas on their menu as a way of promoting insects as an alternative protein source.

Dairy Farmer - Throughout the year our reporter, Chris Dearden has been following the trials and tribulations of a farmer who has been developing a dairy herd from scratch amid challenging times for the industry. Huw Clwyd, who farms in the lower Conwy Valley had just started converting his farm from sheep and beef cattle to dairy cows when the price of milk dropped in autumn last year. His first year as a milk producer is now drawing to a close and his cows have just stopped producing milk until the spring.

and finally what will you be drinking with your Christmas lunch? Wales's newest wine is celebrating its first vintage and has managed to pick up an international award at the same time. Jabajak vineyard and restaurant near Whitland in Carmarthenshire has produced 1500 bottles of its still white wine eight years after planting the first vines - and might send one to the US president
