Mary Anne continues her fascinating, intimate conversation with guitar hero Carrie Brownstein.

Carrie is the star of Emmy-nominated TV show Portlandia and founding member of pioneering band Sleater-Kinney (and now defunct group Wild Flag). She lives in Portland, Oregon and Los Angeles. Her memoir 'Hunger Makes Me A Modern Girl' was published by Penguin in October.
